Town Clock Hall was built in 1882 and served as a public school until 1900. From 1908 to 1918 it was the borough meeting hall. Hillside Hook and Ladder Co. Smith, vice president, Jeanne Homan, William Ostergren, Linda Shirk, secretary-treasurer, Charles M. Shirk, John B. Rengier, solicitor, John H. Hartman, and David P. Kuhl, mayor.
