Nature
Branbury State Park is a 69-acre Vermont park in Salisbury and Leicester on Lake Dunmore’s eastern shore, at the base of Mount Moosalamoo and beside Green Mountain National Forest. Divided by Vermont Route 53, it combines lakeside recreation with easy access to protected woodland and nearby mountain slopes. The park supports boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, picnicking, wildlife watching, and winter sports, with a sandy beach and boat rentals. It also offers camping with tent and lean-to sites and modern facilities. A nature center and ranger-led programs make it a family-oriented base for exploring both the lake and surrounding forest.
