This Civil War memorial records the names of local servicemen, their companies and regiments, ranks, promotions, and in many cases whether they died in service, including men from units such as the 100th Regiment Heavy Artillery, 14th Indiana O.V.B. Light Artillery, O.V.C. 1st Regiment, and numerous Ohio regiments from the 2nd through the 197th.
