19th Century Hawleyton
History
First called The Hemlocks, Hawleyton in the 19th century included a water powered mill, Blandings Store, a town hall, the Hawleyton Creamery, the Hawleyton ME Church and parsonage given by James Hawleyton, Lyceum Hall later used as a blacksmith shop, the Hawleyton School in District No. 4, and the Six Mile Hotel and Post Office.
