The High Point Monument rises 220 feet, with a base 34 feet square at the platform and 19 feet square where the apex begins. Its base stands on the highest point in the State of New Jersey, at an altitude of 1803 feet above sea level. The cornerstone was laid June 8, 1929, and in 1930 Colonel and Mrs. Anthony Kuser erected the monument to the glory, honor, and eternal memory of New Jersey heroes by land, sea, and air in all wars of the country.
