Esmond Mountain is an Oregon summit rising to 4,895 feet. It was named for pioneer settler Edwin Esmond. Although little more is recorded here about the mountain itself, its name preserves a link to Oregon’s early settlement and reflects how many named summits in the state retain traces of that past.
