Shoemaker Covered Bridge is a historic wooden covered bridge in Pine Township, Columbia County, Pennsylvania. Built in 1881, it spans West Branch Run as a simple rural road bridge and uses a Queen Post Truss, a traditional timber design suited to shorter spans. At 49 feet long, it represents a once-common type that served local travel and farming communities. It is one of 28 historic covered bridges in Columbia and Montour Counties, reflecting the former importance of such structures in the region. Its significance was formally recognized in 1979 through listing on the National Register of Historic Places, and it remains part of Pennsylvania’s increasingly rare covered bridge heritage.
