Cuneo Museum in Vernon Hills, Illinois, is a 1914 Mediterranean-style mansion, art collection, and garden estate designed by Benjamin Marshall of Marshall and Fox. Built for Samuel Insull, it later passed to John Cuneo Sr. in 1937 after the fall of the Insull utility empire and remained the Cuneo family home until 1990. It then opened to the public in 1991 as an art gallery and historic house museum. The estate is known for richly decorated interiors, including murals by John Mallin, collections of antique furnishings and fine art, and grounds designed by Jens Jensen. Loyola University Chicago received the estate in 2009.
