Memphis State Recreation Area is a protected 163-acre site in east-central Nebraska, about 20 miles west of Omaha, centered on the 48-acre Memphis Lake. Managed by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, it serves as a fishing destination where largemouth bass, bluegill, and channel catfish are found. The surrounding area also provides opportunities for camping, hiking, and boating, making it a regional outdoor recreation site.
