Vaca Railroad Station was reconstructed by Crane Point Hammock on the original 1910 site. The station was not a regular stop until George Adderley and his friends gave Flagler the right of way through their town, now Crane Point Hammock, in exchange for transporting their sponges and charcoal to Key West for market.
