Dedicated to the two hundredth anniversary of the United States of America, this preservation effort was sponsored by the Utah American Revolution Bicentennial Commission and Beaver Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Determined to preserve the historic Beaver County courthouse, the Beaver Daughters of Utah Pioneers obtained a lease from Beaver County granting them use of the building for a museum. The courthouse is on the National Register of Historic Places. The roof and exterior trim were renewed and the interior refurbished.
