Elk Mountain, Utah, most recently refers to a ski resort area near Beaver in southern Utah. Formerly known as Elk Meadows Ski Area, it has been identified as a skiing destination. After an earlier closure, the resort reopened in December 2010 under new ownership as Eagle Point Ski Resort. Since then, it has expanded with amenities such as restaurants and hot tubs, and a weather station operates below the resort in Merchant Creek Valley.
