Celina Masonic Lodge 241 was chartered here on October 20, 1853, in the Old Ellis House. A boulder taken from the bed of the historic Auglaize River was used for a tablet erected by the Masonic Centennial Committee on November 25, 1953, in the 150th year of the state.
