The Chandler Cabin was the first cabin known to have been built in Baker County in 1861. It was moved from its original site five miles south in 1993. It was disassembled and reconstructed to depict the life of Oregon Trail pioneers upon settling in the valley. It was donated to the Haines 1880's Park by the Charles Chandler Family.
