Brooks Memorial State Park is a Washington state park in the southern Cascade Mountains northeast of Goldendale, preserving 682 acres of ponderosa pine forest along a branch of the Little Klickitat River. Developed through state land acquisitions between 1944 and 1957, it was named for Judge Nelson B. Brooks, a local figure known for establishing and improving roads in Klickitat County in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The park serves as a public recreation area centered on its forest landscape, with camping, picnicking, wildlife viewing, nine miles of hiking and equestrian trails, an environmental learning center, and a disc golf course added in 2017.
