Porter’s Bar Site in Eastpoint, Florida, is a Pre-Columbian archaeological site about two miles northeast of the community off U.S. 98/319. It preserves evidence of human activity in the region from before European contact, making it an important source for understanding the area’s earlier inhabitants. Its significance as a place of both historical and archaeological value was formally recognized when it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on January 23, 1975.
