Hundreds of films, television shows, and commercials have been shot at Malibu Creek State Park, whose dramatic vistas, natural beauty, and versatile open space drew Hollywood producers and performers there for decades. Before it became a state park in 1974, the area was owned by 20th Century Fox and was known as Century Ranch. Cary Grant, Marlon Brando, Marilyn Monroe, Humphrey Bogart, Bette Davis, Elvis Presley, Paul Newman, Nicholas Cage, and Will Ferrell were among the celebrities who worked there.
