Hebron Church was a Cumberland Presbyterian church organized by Rev. Laban Jones in 1827 in a log cabin on the Thomas McCall farm overlooking McCall Spring. The itinerant pastor traveled his circuit on horseback, visiting his preaching places twice a year. The church was built in 1844 on the old family burying ground, where internments dated from before 1816.
