Citizens of Nazareth, Pennsylvania, who served their country in the World War were honored here, including the honored dead Monroe C. Bill, Newberry Billheimer, David E. Dornblaser, Eugene Hariegle, Clayton Kaiser, Harold V. H. Knecht, Edgar W. Pettit, Frank Reese, Clinton Schoch, Emory Smith, and John Williams, along with a roll of honor naming the many other local men and women who served; it was dedicated Nov. 11, 1923.
