Sundance Mountain is a 12,267-foot peak in the Beartooth Mountains of southern Montana, within the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness of Custer National Forest. One of the taller summits in the Beartooth range, it rises in a high, rugged alpine landscape known for its remoteness. Its importance is chiefly geographic, as it stands among the prominent mountains of this wilderness area in Carbon County.
