Donald Kozlik rendered service beyond the call of duty as both a Boy Scout and a soldier of his country. As a Boy Scout, his good turn included five years of daily service to a blind man from 1946 to 1951. He served with the U.S. Army from 1951 until he gave his life for his country on a battlefield of Korea on July 18, 1952.
