Constructed as a two story house, this is thought to be the oldest building still standing in Greenville. It was built by Kendall Morse, younger brother of Stephen Morse, who co-founded Almira College. The brothers were some of the most prosperous merchants in town, and their estimated worth was said to be $100,000. In 1856 this building also served as the location of the Ladies Library Association.
