The original homestead at this site belonged to Simeon Comfort Powell and Edith Hannah Cornaby Powell. Their children were Edith Amelia Powell "Sackett," Simeon James Powell, Hannah Caroline Powell "Williams," Samuel March Powell, Alma J. Powell, and William T. Williams. Hannah C. P. Williams acquired the original property along with other property totaling 5,000 acres in Tie Fork and the South Side of Canyon, including ranch homes at the mine and west canyon. Williams children born or reared here were Edith Last Williams "Robertson" - Roth, Amelia Williams, Ann Rees Williams, "Twin-Died in Infancy," Grace Emily Williams "Jacobsen," Thomas Cornaby Williams "died in Infancy," Dora C. Williams "Died in Infancy," Allen Berry Williams, Grant Griffiths Williams, David Clark Williams, Doris Pearl Williams "Died in Infancy," and Samuel Coraby Williams and Hannah Willett Williams "Kelly-Reisner." The children marked with an asterisk were buried at the Tucker Town Cemetery.
