The American Museum of Nursing in Tempe, Arizona, operated as part of the Arizona State University College of Nursing and was devoted to the history of nursing. Its exhibits included uniforms, posters, medical care items, photographs, and other memorabilia related to the profession. It also served as a center for preservation and study through a research library, a rare document room, and an archive. Its collections have since become part of the International Nursing Museum in Scottsdale, which is seeking a permanent location.
