Alpine Mountain Ski and Ride Center was a ski area in Pennsylvania’s Pocono region southeast of Scranton, with 21 trails including beginner, intermediate, and expert runs, plus a terrain park near Swivel trail. It gained regional attention in 2013 when it was voted On the Snow’s Best Family Ski Area in the Mid-Atlantic/Southeast. That year it was sold through a closed-bid auction to an undisclosed buyer and reopened for the 2013–14 season on December 20, 2013. After two years under new management, it closed again in 2015. In 2017, the property was sold to a local family, with no public future plans announced.
