This memorial is dedicated to all veterans, men and women, who served in any branch of the Armed Services of the United States of America in the past, the present, and the future to preserve the right for others to be free. Dated November 11, 1989, it also invokes the remembrance of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, and the call to keep America alert.
