Eugene Powell and Capt. Thomas McConnell; the 1st Brigade, 1st Division, 14th Army Corps under Brig. Gen. William P. Carlin, with the 2nd Ohio under Col. Anson G. McCook, the 33rd Ohio under Capt. James H.M. Montgomery, and the 94th Ohio under Maj. Rue P. Hutchins; the 2nd Brigade, 1st Division, 4th Army Corps under Brig. Gen. Walter C. Whitaker, with the 40th Ohio under Col. Jacob E. Taylor, the 51st Ohio under Lieut. Col. Charles H. Wood, and the 99th Ohio under Lieut. Col. John E. Cummins; the 3rd Brigade, 1st Division, 4th Army Corps under Col. William Grose, with the 24th Ohio under Capt. George M. Bacon; and the 1st Brigade, 1st Division, 15th Army Corps under Brig. Gen. Charles R. Woods, with the 76th Ohio under Maj. Willard Warner and Aleshire's Ohio Light Artillery, 18th Battery, under Lieut. Joseph McCafferty, operating from Moccasin Point.
