The 13th Illinois Infantry, in the 1st Brigade under Woods, 1st Division under Osterhaus, and 15th Army Corps under Blair, was commanded by Lt. Col. Frederic W. Partridge and served with Geary's Division near Cravens' House from 3 until 6:30 P.M. on November 24th. On the morning of November 25th, 1863, it moved to Missionary Ridge via Rossville and suffered a loss of 63.
