This building stood through 100 years of changing transportation and daily life, hearing miners and the sounds of horses, oxen, wagons, stagecoaches, automobiles, and planes pass its door. It was never without a tenant and first opened in 1868 when J.R. Morrison established it as a Wells Fargo Agency and general store.
