Samuel S. Lewis State Park is an 85-acre Pennsylvania state park in Lower Windsor Township, east of York, centered on Mt. Pisgah, an 885-foot ridge overlooking the Susquehanna River Valley and dividing East Prospect Valley from Kreutz Creek Valley. The park was created from four properties, beginning in 1954 when Samuel S. Lewis donated his 35-acre farm to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Additional land came that year from Walter Stein's one-acre arboretum and 15 acres from the Almoney Farm, with a final 14-acre purchase in 1999. The park is valued for ridge-top recreation, including hiking, picnicking, kite flying, star-gazing, and weddings.
