Reynolds Mountain is a 9,125-foot peak in Glacier National Park’s Lewis Range, standing on the Continental Divide and prominently visible from Logan Pass, with Hidden Lake below its western side. Considered relatively accessible by Glacier standards, its usual route follows the southwestern talus slope and can be reached without technical climbing. The mountain was named for Charles E. Reynolds of Forest and Stream and officially adopted in 1910 by the U.S. Board on Geographic Names. Its sedimentary rock records a long geologic history, including the Lewis Overthrust, which carried ancient Precambrian rock over younger Cretaceous layers.
