Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park in British Columbia protects Bridal Veil Falls, a waterfall near Rosedale in the Chilliwack area that is reached by a short trail from the parking area. The falls drop 122 metres over a broad rock face, creating the veil-like appearance that gave them their name. Although sometimes wrongly called the fourth tallest in Canada, they rank 38th in British Columbia. Water flows from Mount Archibald into Bridal Creek, then onward to Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park and the Fraser River. Seasonal changes can greatly alter the falls, and winter ice can make the base hazardous. Early 20th-century hydro-electric works once powered a nearby chalet and heated pool.
