Built in 1889 and designed by noted Manchester architect William W. Ireland in the then-popular Queen Anne style, Grasmere Town Hall served not only as a meeting hall but also as Schoolhouse #9. For many years it was known as the Grange because the Goffstown Junior Grange met there, and it also housed dozens of other community groups, a district court, and even a dinner theater. The building was placed in a local historic district in 1986 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. It stands on the site where the town's original meetinghouse once stood.
