Canopy Shores is a 33-acre park purchased in 2005 in cooperation with the Florida Communities Trust grant program. It is located adjacent to the Matanzas River and within the Northeast Florida Blueway Florida Forever project boundary. This natural area is comprised of a mixed hardwood forest, salt marsh, and floodplain swamp and is managed as a passive resource park.
