Enoch Crosby, known as Harvey Birch, was a patriot spy of the American Revolution. Born June 5, 1750, and dying June 26, 1835, he braved danger and death so that this land might be free and offered everything he had to the cause of liberty without hope of reward. He was honored by Washington and revered by his countrymen.
