Corporal Milton Blickensderfer earned the Congressional Medal of Honor during the Civil War for heroism at Petersburg, Virginia on April 3, 1865. He was born on May 20, 1835, in Pennsylvania and died on March 17, 1916. He is buried at Eastlawn Cemetery.
