Men and women from the townships of Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Robinson, Crockery, Polkton, Wright, and Chester gave their lives for freedom in wars from World War II, Korea, and Vietnam to the present day. Those honored include those lost at Corregidor in 1942, as well as heroes of the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Lebanon conflict, representing communities including Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Coopersville, Nunica, Ferrysburg, West Olive, and Conklin.
