Moses and Aaron Wilcox, the twin founders who gave Twinsburg its name and this public park, dedicated the land for the park and were instrumental in the community's cultural, religious, and educational growth. They were regarded as unique because they married sisters, had an equal number of children, held their property in common, were identical in appearance, became ill with the same disease, died on the same day, and are buried in the same grave.
