Pelican Bay Light, also called the Port of Brookings Light, is a small privately owned lighthouse in Brookings on Oregon’s southern coast. Overlooking the Port of Brookings Harbor and the mouth of the Chetco River, it stands out from most coastal lights because it was added onto an existing house rather than built as a separate station. The light remains maintained by the Cady family of Brookings, linking this unusual harbor beacon to local private stewardship.
