In the late 1800s, Sally Wicks Sharp designated her home as a place of worship until New Zion M.B. Church was built. Before services were held at Sally’s house, the family worshipped at New Prospect M.B. Church. Sally Wicks Sharp lived from October 10, 1873 to May 23, 1943.
