Nature
Lake Cumberland State Resort Park is a Kentucky state park on the northern shore of Lake Cumberland, about four miles south of Jamestown. Covering 3,117 acres, it is organized around public access to the lake, whose reservoir has spanned about 50,250 acres and later stood at around 37,000 acres. The park serves as a major center for outdoor recreation, combining shoreline scenery with resort-style amenities such as lodging, camping, a marina, fishing, and disc golf. Its importance comes from offering one of the principal ways for visitors to experience and enjoy Lake Cumberland.
