Founded in 1896, Sanger Presbyterian Church built this structure in 1902 on land given by Jack R. Sullivan, a Baptist. With the town's best auditorium, it became a site of school and civic programs, and elocution and music were taught here. The community bought the building when the congregation moved to a new church in 1971.
