Built in 1853, the Teegarden House was restored on March 1, 2012, by Jerry and Cindy Paine. A kit home from the state of Ohio, it was shipped down the Mississippi River, around Cape Horn, to San Francisco, and up the Sacramento and Feather Rivers by paddle wheeler to Yuba City.
