Pakatakan Mountain is a Catskill Mountain in New York, southeast of Margaretville, and is also known by the variant name Pakataghkan Mountain. It stands within a closely grouped upland landscape typical of this part of the Catskills. Nearby features include Kettle Hill to the north, Meade Hill to the east-northeast, and Dry Brook Ridge to the southeast, placing Pakatakan within a distinct cluster of surrounding high ground.
