Fred "Cy" Williams was the first player to hit 200 home runs in the National League. He played for six years with the Chicago Cubs and for thirteen years with the Philadelphia Phillies. He was tied by Babe Ruth with forty-one home runs in 1923, and his lifetime home run record was 251. In Three Lakes, Cy was better known for his architectural achievements in designing and building. He was born on December 21, 1888, and died on April 23, 1974.
