Carpenter Mountain is a mountain in Alleghany County, Virginia, rising to a summit elevation of 2,690 feet above sea level. It is located about 4.5 miles south of Covington. The peak has also been known by the unofficial variant name Carpenter's Mountain. Beyond its location, elevation, and alternate name, little more is recorded here about its significance.
