Built originally in 1925 for Will Keith Kellogg as his winter home for the Kellogg family on the site of his Arabian Horse Ranch, Kellogg House Pomona was donated to the State of California by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation in October 1949 to benefit the "custodians of the future" and higher education for California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and was rededicated on Founders' Day, November 12, 1998.
