Mount Lincoln is a 5,089-foot summit in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, part of the Franconia Range on Franconia Ridge between Little Haystack and Mount Lafayette. Together they form a prominent high ridgeline above Franconia Notch. The mountain’s western and eastern slopes both drain into the Pemigewasset River system, with water flowing west toward the river’s main stem and east through Lincoln Brook to the Franconia Branch. Mount Lincoln is also crossed by the Appalachian Trail as it follows Franconia Ridge from Georgia to Maine, a route that has helped make it a well-known destination among the high peaks of the White Mountains.
