Booth State Scenic Corridor is an Oregon state park along Oregon Route 140 west of Lakeview, formed from eight parcels totaling 318.6 acres. It began with a 50-acre gift in 1928 from Robert A. Booth, a businessman and former chairman of the Oregon Highway Commission, and the state added land through 1944 to create the present corridor. During the 1930s, the Civilian Conservation Corps helped develop the site with a picnic area, campsites, an access road, and parking. Though overnight camping later ended, the park remained a day-use stop. Its conifer forest and wildlife, including mule deer, coyotes, and cougars, define its character.
