Warriors Path State Park is a 349-acre Pennsylvania state park in Bedford County on a bend of the Raystown Branch Juniata River, which surrounds it on three sides and gives it a secluded character. Named for the Great Indian Warpath, it was assembled in stages from 1959 to 1964, with later additions including land long held by the Nimchishin family and a donated tract from Samuel and Mrs. Samuel Bussard. The river shapes the park’s recreation and ecology, supporting fishing, boating, and a freshwater swamp used by waterfowl and river otter. Trails also serve hikers, skiers, and seasonal hunters in this quiet woodland and wetland setting.
